Dang! I said I wasn’t going to write any blogs today….

I was going to sit here and complete this marketing packet. I was on track. I woke up, did my morning thing and sat right at my desk ready to work. First task: come up with “the story” for TPS and a tag line. It’s early in the morning and I’m having a brain fart! Oh I know! I’ll use Facebook to help me get going!

I put up a few posts asking folks for their thoughts on my rough draft ideas and next thing I know, there’s a full on comment stream, folks are sending me private messages and emails are flowing into my mailbox! I love it.

I love that our community is SO VOCAL about what they like and what they don’t like.

I have to say I have taken notice. I love feed back, but even more, I love raw feedback! I love that we are not shy to express our opinions and thoughts. A few weeks ago we renamed all of our classes. One of those classes was called, Sweat Shop! It’s an hour long workout dedicated to body weight exercises and high cardio, hence the sweat part. I soon received an email from a concerned client expressing that we change the name due to the reference of an actual evil-ass sweat shop! We read the email and IMMEDIATELY changed the name to simply, Sweat! Another example, we sent out a survey to all of clients earlier in the year about how we can be better. Just THREE days later, we implemented those changes/request. Real talk. I love it. I welcome it.

This gym is TRULY for you and our community!

And I want to build a bad-ass place where we can workout together and be together and kick ass together. Thank you all for the feed back and the constructive criticism. Those two things are only bad when we don’t change and innovate from them. Keep it coming! Okay, I gotta go before I get off track with this marketing packet!
